Fall 2021 Announcements for Student Organizations

OFFICE OF STUDENT LIFE - HOURS OF OPERATION

  • The Office of Student Life will be open Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm during the academic year.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION FAIR

  • Student Life & Campus Activities Board (CAB) will host an in-person student organization fair on August 19th from noon-2:00pm.

  • Office of Student Life YouTube Channel is host to a wide variety of student organization promo videos for students to learn more about each organization.

STUDENT ORGANIZATION INFO MEETINGS & RE-REGISTRATION PROCESS

  • REQUIRED: Student Organization Re-Registration Form must be completed by Friday, September 17, 2021

  • Student Organization Information Sessions, designed to help answer specific questions on topics that will help your organization be successful. These are optional meetings, but highly encouraged! Meet the Office of Student Life staff, get your questions answered, have some fun and snacks!

    • Tuesday, September 14 from 5:00-6:00pm, Maucker Union Ballroom
    • Wednesday, September 15 from 4:00-5:00pm, Maucker Union Ballroom

CAMPUS ACTIVITIES BOARD

  • CAB will host a variety of fun and safe events for all students this year! For a full schedule of events, visit studentlife.uni.edu/cab

FRATERNITY & SORORITY LIFE

NORTHERN IOWA STUDENT GOVERNMENT

  • NISG will host regular Senate meetings at 8:00pm on Wednesdays in-person beginning in Fall 2021 in Maucker Union. Additional virtual viewing can be accessed via Facebook Live on the NISG Facebook Page.

PANTHER PANTRY

  • The Panther Pantry will be open during the fall and spring semesters. For information and hours of operation, visit pantherpantry.uni.edu

RESOURCES & SUPPORT

Things were unknown and stressful when we went into the pandemic and virtual learning/meetings in Spring 2020. Now as we work towards more in-person learning and events, people may still experience stress. Here's a few ways you can help yourself and others.
