Weddings at Maucker Union



Maucker Union Old Central Ballroom is the place for your special event at the University of Northern Iowa.  Renovated in 2012, the Ballroom has a contemporary feel that is best described as a clean canvas with the ability to incorporate high-tech touches. Modern wood-grained flooring and neutral wall colors make this location able to coordinate with any style of décor. The ballroom can accommodate a seating capacity of up to 450 guests for a plated banquet.

Catering

Catering for all Maucker Union event is provided by UNI Catering.  Cake for weddings may be brought in from outside vendors. Cake cutting can be provided as part of your catering services.

Decorations
Make your special event even more memorable with decor that the Old Central Ballroom can provide.  Items available for rental include:

Headtable Backdrop
LED Uplighting


A backdrop can help make the headtable stand
out.  Available in either white or black.  The
white backdrop can be backlit with lighting
(LED lighting and incandescent lighting can be
included)

Can be programmed to match your wedding colors. 
These lights can be place around the room by
the columns on the walls and behind the headtable
backdrop.  They really make the room come alive
once the room lights are darkened and you are
ready to begin the dance.
Ceiling Draping


 

Over 60 feet in width and spans the entire
dance floor, o
ur signature piece will
make your reception stand out.
